Position Overview:  
In this newly created role, you will be an integral member of our medical affairs team, focusing on establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key healthcare professionals and researchers in the field of oncology. You will be responsible for disseminating scientific information and supporting clinical research initiatives in a way that is ethical and compliant with company policies and legal requirements. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas, current medical therapies, and treatments. 
  • Stay abreast of emerging research and clinical practice trends in oncology. 
  • Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, investigators, and patient associations.  
  • Serve as a scientific peer and resource within the oncology community. 
  • Communicate complex medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals. 
  • Ensure accurate and balanced dissemination of data to support the use of the company's oncology product(s). 
  • Facilitate the initiation and implementation of clinical trial and investigator-initiated study proposals. 
  • Support research activities aligned with medical affairs strategies. 
  • Deliver site or regional investigator meetings in support of study rationale, trial enrollment and/or subject retention 
  • Work collaboratively with regulatory, and research teams to provide scientific insights and strategies. 
  • Organize and conduct medical education and disease awareness activities.  
  • Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and advisory boards. 
  • Collect and provide meaningful medical insights back to our teams to shape company strategy. 
  • Assists in the development of medical communications materials and publications. 
  • Sustains expertise in therapeutic area treatment management and new therapies, competitive products and features, and provide feedback to the senior leadership team on specific initiatives.
Qualifications: 
  • Advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD). 
  • Medical Science Liaison Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably in oncology. 
  • Strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to travel. 
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $220K to $225K + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
